¿Sabéis porque animadora en Inglés se dice cheeerleader?

Si analizamos el término, se compone de dos palabras, cheer y leader.

La primera de ellas significa ánimo o júbilo, y leader quiere decir líder (fijaros el parecido de leader y su correspondiente en Español.

Como expresión útil os proponemos cheer up!, que se emplea cuando queremos dar ánimos a alguien, pudiendo usarse cheer como verbo:

Sure, Iĺl cheer him up!
